Kindly feel free to submit your stories to our blog. We will share them with our community and will be glad to help each other out in expressing our challenges and victories on this difficult journey of Life. All submissions are welcome from the epileptic and or mental health community. You don’t have to be a sufferer to have a story to share. You could be a caregiver or a person of goodwill with some resource and or empathy to share.
Here is a synopsis of my story which I equally share on my own blog. I once had a brother who was a genius and he became ill. He was first diagnosed with epilepsy at the the tender age of 11, and he later developed a mental disorder diagnosed as bipolar. At his death, I authored a memoir to immortalize this dynamic and full of potential young man. I knew that the world needed to know that he was not born what he died being. I wanted and still want the world to know that our loved ones are/were people with hopes for their futures before mental illness steps/stepped into the picture.
I urge you therefore, to feel free and welcome to share your own stories. I equally have my own personal stories of mental challenges, and I share them as I live them. I blog genuinely about them, because there is such therapy in talking. Therefore, if you want to share your story of just a resource, you can get in touch through the contact form in the contact page, or send us your posts by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you heartily for your contribution, the Gbm Team!
