That’s why the messages on the t-shirts for the walk were so poignant.
All the delegations invited, sent representatives. Basically, we had representatives from the delegations of Public Health and of Social Affairs. Their participation at the walk was made all the more valuable by the presentations they made on both epilepsy as a neurological disorder and the need to change social attitudes towards those suffering/affected from/by the condition.
Therefore, although the journey ahead seems so enormous, we are greatly inspired by the turnout and success of the walk. We thus stay motivated as we keep walking to bring epilepsy and mental illness out of the shadows.
